Preparing for My Barcelona to Rome Cycling Adventure – May 2025
In May 2025, I’ll embark on my most ambitious cycling journey yet: a ride from Barcelona to Rome. Covering almost 2,000 kilometers, this route will take me along the stunning Mediterranean coastline, through iconic destinations like Marseille, Monaco, and picturesque Italian towns.
The journey is a mix of excitement and challenge. I’ll be riding through diverse terrains, camping under the stars, and experiencing different cultures. It’s not just about the kilometers but about the memories and connections along the way.
Right now, I’m in the planning phase:
- Choosing the best gear for camping and cycling.
- Mapping out my route using the EuroVelo 8 as a guide.
- Preparing physically and mentally for daily rides of up to 80 km.
